Owl Prowl: Nocturnal Owl Survey & Workshop

April 14 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Northern Saw Whet Owl

REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  Register online here

Join our special guests from Discover Owls and learn to identify Manitoba’s owls by sight and sound. Meet Rusty, a live Long-eared Owl, and discover how owls can indicate the health of our forests.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and refreshment will be served. At sunset, we’ll head out on the trails to participate in the Nocturnal Owl Survey by listening for owls and recording our findings. This important data will be shared with Bird Studies Canada for research studies and habitat protection.

Participants are encouraged to bring a Tin-for-the-Bin in support of Winnipeg Harvest and help feed those in need in Manitoba.
