Helping Peguis First Nation

This week our Mayor Debbie Fiebelkorn along with other members from the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region visited Chief Hudson of Peguis First Nation with bins filled of children’s books, games and crafts for the children and families that have been evacuated from their homes and are now staying in hotels across Winnipeg.

To be able to bring a little bit of joy to the children was important as Chief Hudson said that 45% of the evacuees are children.
