The RM of St. Clements is collecting non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys to support two local Christmas hamper programs: Abundant Life Church’s Community Christmas Hamper and the Big Hearts Christmas Hamper.
Donations can be dropped off at the RM Office from now until Thursday, December 4 as well as the Community Christmas Party at East Selkirk Hall on November 29.
1. Abundant Life Church – Community Christmas Hamper
- Serves residents north of the Winnipeg perimeter, excluding the City of Selkirk and the Town of Beausejour.
- To request a hamper, email communitychristmashamper@gmail.com or call 204-599-1898.
- Donations can also be brought to the Community Christmas Party on November 29 at ESH.
2. Big Hearts Christmas Hamper (Selkirk Home Hardware)
- Serves residents across the Interlake region, including the City of Selkirk.
- To request a hamper, email bigheartshampers2025@gmail.com with the following:
- Names of everyone in the household
- Ages and genders of children
- Phone number
- Address
