About the RM of St. Clements Fund

In 2010, the RM of St. Clements Council established the RM of St. Clements Fund at the Selkirk and District Community Foundation (SDCF) to grow a fund for grants in the municipality. It is kept growing by an annual grant from the RM and by community-minded donors.

The SDFC gives out grants to registered charities in the RMs of St. Clements and St. Andrews and the City of Selkirk. People donate money to SDCF, SDCF invests the money, and grants are given from the interest on the investments to eligible applicants.

East Selkirk Recreation Association was a 2017 recipient of SDFC’s RM of St. Clements Fund grant for rubber mats and netting.

The RM of St. Clements Fund provides grants to registered charities operating and /or delivering services within the municipality.  The latest recipient of a grant from this fund was the East Selkirk Recreation Association, who received funds to support the replacement of rubber mats and protective netting for the East Selkirk Recreation Centre’s arena.

This is a donor-advised fund, which means that the RM of St. Clements Council approves the recipients. The balance of the RM of St. Clements Fund as of 2017 is $56, 600+.
