Manitoba Hunter Safety Course

The Manitoba Hunter Safety Course is required to hunt! Make sure that you have yours in time for this year’s hunting season!

The course will be offered on October 29th at East Selkirk Hall (771 Old Henderson Hwy). Course starts at 9am and will end at 5pm.

Date: October 29th, 2023

Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Minimum Age To Participate: 12 years old

Cost: $75/person

Babysitter Course

The course takes place on October 8th, 2023 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at the East Selkirk Hall located at 711 Old Henderson Hwy, East Selkirk.

Stick and Puck 

Open to all members of the public.

Bring your stick and puck and work on your one-timer!

Location: 1145 Strathcona Rd, East Selkirk, MB

Days of the Week: Fridays starting on September 29th, 2023

Time: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Helmets are mandatory!

Introduction to Stress, Mindfulness and Reframing our Thoughts

Recreation and leisure activity programs involve certain elements of risk. Injuries may occur while participating in these activities.  The risk of sustaining injuries results from the nature of the activity and can occur without fault of either the participant or the Municipality, it’s employees/agents, or the facility where the activity is taking place.  By choosing to participate in the programs, you are accepting the risk that an injury may occur.  The chance of an injury occurring can be reduced by carefully following instructions at all times while engaged in the activity.  By registering for the programs, you understand that you bear the responsibility for any injury that might occur.
