As the 2026 Municipal Election approaches, the RM of St. Clements is reminding residents and candidates that there are rules governing the use of municipal resources during the election period.
These rules help ensure that municipal resources remain neutral and are not used in a way that provides an electoral advantage to a candidate.
Municipal resources include, but are not limited to:
- Municipal websites and social media accounts
- The RM logo, seal and other municipal identifying marks
- Municipal facilities, equipment and supplies
- Municipal employees and volunteers acting in their municipal capacity
- Municipal events and functions
- Information that is not otherwise available to the public
The Municipality will continue to provide residents with information about municipal services, programs, meetings and the election process throughout the election period.
