The RM of St. Clements will be transitioning to a new curbside collection provider, GFL Environmental, effective February 1, 2026.
Garbage collection will continue on a weekly basis, with recycling collected biweekly. All collection zones and days will remain the same as in previous years, with one minor change to the recycling schedule. Recycling for Zones 2 and 4 will be adjusted to align with the same collection week as all other zones. Moving forward, all recycling will be collected during the same week, regardless of zone, to simplify service for residents and the contractor.
The 2026 curbside collection schedule will be available for pick up at the RM of St. Clements office or online on the RM website.
Collection Times
Collection will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on scheduled collection days.
Cart Placement Requirements
GFL Environmental will be using automated collection vehicles and will be conducting routine inspections of curbside cart placement. To ensure your cart is collected properly, please follow these placement guidelines:
- Place carts at the curb with lids should open towards the street
- Leave an arm’s length of space between garbage and recycling carts when both are set out
- Ensure carts are not blocked by snow, vehicles, or other obstructions
Residents are encouraged to review the updated schedule and ensure carts are placed correctly on collection days.
