The Grand Marais Post Office, located at the Grand Marais Village Store, will be closing. The store has given notice to end its contract with Canada Post.

Canada Post will install 27 new community mailboxes at the Grand Marais Recreation Centre.
What Residents Can Expect
Next week, Canada Post will mail letters to all affected residents. These letters will include:
- Your new mailbox key
- The location of your community mailbox
- The date mail delivery will begin
The RM of St. Clements asked Canada Post to hold a public consultation on this change. Canada Post advised that public consultations are not part of their policy.
