About the Foundation
Selkirk and District Community Foundation began in 1995.
In 2016 assets were valued at $8.9 million allowing them to award $216, 902 in grants that year.
Other local governments also have funds with SDCF. The RM of St. Andrews Fund supports renovation and upkeep of their 13 community halls and the City of Selkirk Heritage Endowment Fund supports the Marine Museum of Manitoba and/or a future museum, possibly virtual.

The Selkirk and District Community Foundation creates different ways for people to give back to their community, connects donors with community wishes and dreams and provides grants that touch a lot of people. This vision ensures that the SDCF is Here for Good.
