Members of the Narol Fire Department recently had the opportunity to visit the STARS base on April 29 as part of the department’s ongoing commitment to training, collaboration, and emergency preparedness.
These visits provide valuable hands-on learning opportunities for firefighters to better understand STARS protocols, communication procedures, equipment, and operational expectations. Continued collaboration between emergency responders helps strengthen teamwork and coordination during critical incidents, ensuring the best possible care for patients when air ambulance services are required.
During the visit, members met with pilots, flight nurses, paramedics, and support staff, gaining insight into the professionalism and teamwork involved in STARS operations across Manitoba and Canada. The department expressed appreciation for the opportunity to continue building strong working relationships with the STARS team through ongoing training opportunities planned throughout the year.
The Narol Fire Department extends a sincere thank you to STARS for their hospitality, professionalism, and continued support of emergency services and the communities they serve. Special thanks were also shared with Megan for helping organize the visit and welcoming members throughout the evening, as well as photographer Tesia for capturing highlights from the event.
