West Gate Closed July 22 to 26
– – – All Park Visitors Must Use East Gate on Provincial Road 206 Manitoba Parks advises the west gate entrance to Birds Hill Provincial Park on Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 59 will be closed July 22 through July 26, to accommodate a film production in the park. Park visitors, including campers and beach users, must access the park using the east gate entrance on Provincial Road (PR) 206. A detour will be signed from PTH 59, redirecting traffic coming from the south along Garven Road (PR 213) to PR 206. Traffic coming from the north will be redirected along PTH 44 to PR 206. To minimize delays at the east gate, visitors are encouraged to purchase and print park vehicle permits before visiting at www.manitobaelicensing.ca or from a local retailer.
