Construction on the St. Clements Activity Centre continued to make strong progress throughout 2025, bringing the project closer to completion and opening to the community.
This $6 million investment will provide a dedicated space for recreation, programs, and community gatherings for residents of all ages. Located on a 10-acre site, the Activity Centre has been designed to support active living and create opportunities for residents to connect and participate in community programming.
Major construction milestones were reached during 2025 as the building structure took shape and site work advanced. In addition to the facility itself, significant outdoor improvements are underway to create a welcoming and accessible space for residents to enjoy.
The surrounding site includes $2.7 million in outdoor amenities, such as:
- Water features
- Playground areas
- Paved walking trails
These additions are designed to improve accessibility and provide safe, engaging recreational spaces for families and individuals throughout the community.
Once open, the Activity Centre will offer flexible indoor spaces that can accommodate a variety of programs, activities, and community events. To support ongoing recreation opportunities, the RM has also committed $200,000 annually to recreation reserves, ensuring sustainable programming and facility use in the years ahead.
The St. Clements Activity Centre represents a long-term investment in recreation, community connection, and inclusive spaces for residents.
A grand opening is anticipated in spring 2026. More information will be shared with residents as the project approaches completion.
