Am I Eligible to Vote? You are eligible to vote if you are a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old on election day, and have been a resident or property owner in the RM of St. Clements for at least six months.
- Non-Resident Voters: If you own property in the RM but live elsewhere, you must complete Form 3: Non-Resident Voter Consent Form to be eligible.
The Voters List
- Form 7A: Notice of Voters List: This notice provides details on how to confirm you are registered to vote.
- Form 7B: Annual Public Notice: Use this process to request additions or changes to the current voters list.
- Personal Security: If you have safety concerns, you may apply for Personal Security Protection (Form 8A) to have your name and address obscured on the public voters list.
Ways to Vote
- In-Person Voting: Visit your designated polling station on election day. Please review the Directions for Voting (Form 22) for instructions on how to mark your ballot.
- Sealed Envelope Ballot: If you are unable to attend a polling station, you may apply to vote by mail.
Assistance at the Polls If you require assistance marking your ballot, you may bring a companion who must take the Oath of a Person Assisting a Voter (Form 24). Interpreters are also available upon request (Form 25)
