Information for Voters

Exercise your right to vote on October 28, 2026. Use this page to ensure you are on the voters list and understand your voting options.

Am I Eligible to Vote? You are eligible to vote if you are a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old on election day, and have been a resident or property owner in the RM of St. Clements for at least six months.

• Non-Resident Voters: If you own property in the RM but live elsewhere, you must complete Form 3: Non-Resident Voter Consent Form to be eligible.

The Voters List

• Form 7A: Notice of Voters List: This notice provides details on how to confirm you are registered to vote.
• Personal Security: If you have safety concerns, you may apply for Personal Security Protection (Form 8A) to have your name and address obscured on the public voters list.

Ward Boundaries

The by-law divides the RM of St. Clements into two wards, with three municipal councillors representing each ward. The new boundaries are shown on Schedule “A” of the by-law, and the written boundary descriptions are included in Schedule “B”. The by-law also repeals the previous ward boundary by-law, By-law No. 4-98 and any amendments.

The by-law received first and second reading on April 14, 2026, and third reading on April 28, 2026.

Ways to Vote

1. In-Person Voting: Visit your designated polling station on election day. Please review the Directions for Voting (Form 22) for instructions on how to mark your ballot.
2. Sealed Envelope Ballot: If you are unable to attend a polling station, you may apply to vote by mail. You must apply to vote by sealed envelope before Election Day. Apply early enough by mail or email to allow time to receive and return your ballot. Your completed ballot must be received by the Senior Election Official by 8:00 p.m. on October 28, 2026.

3. Advance polls will be at the RM Office 1043 Kittson Road on:
   • October 17, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
   • October 18, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
4. Voting Locations for Non-Resident Voters: If you are a non-resident voter, you may vote at either of the following Winnipeg voting locations:
   • Bronx Park Community Centre
     720 Henderson Highway, Winnipeg
   • Elwick Community Centre
     44 Maberley Road, Winnipeg

Assistance at the Polls If you require assistance marking your ballot, you may bring a companion who must take the Oath of a Person Assisting a Voter (Form 24). Interpreters are also available upon request (Form 25)
