As part of our commitment to transparency and timely communication, we’re providing weekly updates on road work and dust control activity throughout the RM.
Here’s a summary of work completed by the end of last week:
Completed Dust Control & Road Maintenance
- All areas west of the floodway: Coronation, Raleigh, McKay, Ludwick, Church S, Hay, Wallie
- Note: Donald Road will be asphalted, but the remaining portion was sprayed
- Portions of Four Mile Road, 74N, 29E, and the area off the end of CIL to Hwy 44
- South of Hwy 44, west of Hwy 59 (east of the floodway): Floodway N and S, Pine N and S, Joseph, Ashfield
As this is an odd-numbered year, cul-de-sacs and dead ends are not being sprayed as per our rotational schedule.
What’s Scheduled Next:
- Remaining roads south of Hwy 44, east of Hwy 59, including Boundary Road (in cooperation with the RM of Springfield) and mile roads between 44 and Boundary
- 33E – if not completed Friday, it’s scheduled for Wednesday next week
- Goodman Subdivision, Bunns Creek Subdivision, and roads south of Hwy 435
- East-West roads with heavier traffic (74, 75, 76, 77) will be prioritized
- Work will continue north through East Selkirk and onward throughout the RM
Tentative Schedule For This Week:
Tuesday, June 25 – Friday, June 28
Dust control crews will return mid-week depending on weather and road conditions. Monday will be used to tune up roads after weekend rain and traffic.
