Public Works Update: Dust Control & Road Work (June 21)

    Home
RM of St. Clements  /  News  /  Public Works Update: Dust Control & Road Work (June 21)

As part of our commitment to transparency and timely communication, we’re providing weekly updates on road work and dust control activity throughout the RM.

Here’s a summary of work completed by the end of last week:

Completed Dust Control & Road Maintenance

    • All areas west of the floodway: Coronation, Raleigh, McKay, Ludwick, Church S, Hay, Wallie
      • Note: Donald Road will be asphalted, but the remaining portion was sprayed
    • Portions of Four Mile Road, 74N, 29E, and the area off the end of CIL to Hwy 44
    • South of Hwy 44, west of Hwy 59 (east of the floodway): Floodway N and S, Pine N and S, Joseph, Ashfield

As this is an odd-numbered year, cul-de-sacs and dead ends are not being sprayed as per our rotational schedule.

    What’s Scheduled Next:

    • Remaining roads south of Hwy 44, east of Hwy 59, including Boundary Road (in cooperation with the RM of Springfield) and mile roads between 44 and Boundary
    • 33E – if not completed Friday, it’s scheduled for Wednesday next week
    • Goodman Subdivision, Bunns Creek Subdivision, and roads south of Hwy 435
    • East-West roads with heavier traffic (74, 75, 76, 77) will be prioritized
    • Work will continue north through East Selkirk and onward throughout the RM

    Tentative Schedule For This Week:
    Tuesday, June 25 – Friday, June 28
Dust control crews will return mid-week depending on weather and road conditions. Monday will be used to tune up roads after weekend rain and traffic.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. These efforts are part of our ongoing work to maintain road safety and quality for all residents. Updates will be posted weekly.
