Effective immediately (3:00pm), the municipal fire ban in the RM of St. Clements has been lifted. This decision was made following recommendations from all three RM Fire Chiefs and has been approved by Council.
While an earlier reminder was issued today, conditions have changed enough to safely lift the ban, based on expert input from our Fire Chiefs.
We thank residents for their patience and cooperation during the ban. Your support helps keep our communities safe.
Please remember:
Areas north of Highway 317 still fall under the Provincial Level 2 Fire Ban.
Open fires in approved fire pits are only allowed between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. in these areas.
Because of this, we are unable to accept burnable materials at the following transfer stations: Gull Lake, Libau, Grand Marais
- Always burn safely and responsibly.
- Never leave a fire unattended.
- Ensure all fires are fully extinguished before leaving the area.
