Pancake Breakfast and Candy Scramble

Looking for something super fun and amazing to do on Sunday, April 7th? Check out the Pancake Breakfast and scramble in Libau!

The fun happens Sunday, April. 7 at Libau Community Club (Rd 86 N). Pancake breakfast is served from 10:00am-12:00pm, followed by a candy scramble at 12:00pm.

Date: April. 7, 2024

Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Open to Families of all ages!

Cost: Adults Breakfast is $10.00 per person. Kids Breakfast is $5.00 per person. Candy Scramble is entrance by Donation.

Gardening Workshop

Have you wanted to get into gardening, but aren’t sure how to start? Join us for a free, virtual gardening

workshop course. Learn when to start your seeds, how to cultivate success and other ways to make your garden bloom!

The workshop takes place on April 12th, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm and will be a virtual course so you don’t even need to get out of your PJ’s! This workshop is also FREE!

Maple and Mushroom

This two-for-one class with the first session devoted to tapping Manitoba maple syrup, and the second focuses on growing your own shiitake mushrooms! Your instructor Ken Fosty is very well known for his

insights on both of these topics. You do not want to miss this!

The class will take place on April. 16 from 7:00pm-8:30pm at East Selkirk Hall (711 Old Henderson Hwy).

Food Handler Course

The RM Recreation Department is putting on a Food Handler course! Come and get your certification and have something new to put on your resume!

Course is on April. 21, 2024 from 9:00am-3:00pm at East Selkirk Hall (711 Old Henderson Hwy).

Cost: $75.00 per person and must be 14 years old or older to participate.

Yoga

Join us for a rejuvenating 8 week spring yoga course that harmonizes body, mind, and spirit.

When: Monday nights, 7:30pm to 8:30pm Starting: April 22nd. Ending: June 17th.

Where: East Selkirk Hall (711 Old Henderson Hwy)

Cost: $90 per person (minimum 10 People).

What to Expect: Mindful breathing to connect with the season’s energy.

Recreation and leisure activity programs involve certain elements of risk. Injuries may occur while participating in these activities.  The risk of sustaining injuries results from the nature of the activity and can occur without fault of either the participant or the Municipality, it’s employees/agents, or the facility where the activity is taking place.  By choosing to participate in the programs, you are accepting the risk that an injury may occur.  The chance of an injury occurring can be reduced by carefully following instructions at all times while engaged in the activity.  By registering for the programs, you understand that you bear the responsibility for any injury that might occur.
