2019 WAVE Artists’ Studio Tour

The 2019 June WAVE Artists’ Studio Tour, June 8 and 9 will feature more than 25 Interlake artists who will open their doors and hearts to visitors. Newest WAVE artist, Jerry Maryniuk, is excited about sharing his art with visitors for the first time. This Arborg resident, will join Alex Reinhardt at Site 35, Earl Grey Road, to make his debut on the circuit. A life-time artist, Jerry applied his skills for 23 years as a Forensic Artist for the Police force. Trained at the FBI Academy and Scottsdale Arts School, his detailed sketches have solved numerous crimes. Now retired, he uses the tools of his trade for cartooning, painting, sculpting and carving gourds. His motto is “Never waste a day!” and he’s looking forward to meeting WAVE visitors on the June 8/9 and Aug. 31/Sept 1., WAVE Tour dates.
The WAVE self-directed tour stretches from Earl Grey Road in St. Andrews to north of Camp Morton. See the Tour Guide and maps on www.watchthewave.ca as well as various locations in Winnipeg and throughout the Interlake.
