Connecting Communities To Protect our Lake & Forests

East Beach Residents and cottagers have enjoyed the peace, tranquility and beauty of Lake Winnipeg and the surrounding Boreal Forests natural environment for generations. The sense of wellness, comfort and positive connections with family and friends is part of our lakeside experience. Unfortunately, Lake Winnipeg and the Boreal Forest surrounding it are threatened.

Zebra mussels, annual toxic algal blooms, high E. coli counts, endangered wildlife and disappearing wetlands are just some of the challenges that our lake and forest areas are facing. These threats put both our place of peace and property values at risk.

Join us to find out what we can do individually and as communities to protect and preserve our natural spaces. Together we can revive a respectful, healthy co-existence with Lake Winnipeg and the Boreal Forest and preserve our treasured sanctuaries for future generations.
