Manitoba Elections Act – Damage to Election Signs

Section 183(3) – A person who, without authority, takes down, covers up, mutilates, defaces or alters a notice or other document required or authorized by this act to be posted is guilty of an offense.

Section 185(1) – A person who is guilty of an offence under sections 178 to 183 is liable on summary conviction to a fine of not more than $10,000, or to imprisonment for a term of not more than one year, or both.

Please do not damage or vandalize election signs.
