Road 202 was opened to traffic on September 9, 2022.
The contractor still has some clean up to do on the shoulders and side slopes and will try to undertake this with minimal traffic interruption. There may be single-lane closures for brief periods of time, but no requirement for detours are anticipated.
The new culvert is much larger and will reduce flooding risk.
The sign stating that the road is closed is still up, and Highways is aware of this so they will take it down as soon as they can.
