Urban Prairie Controlled Burn

Gaynor Family Regional Library has an urban prairie. Part of the management of this traditional prairie is a controlled burn every five years. This is part of the natural cycle to revitalize/renew the prairie landscape. Join them for an information night to hear from the experts and find out more about this exciting process.
